CRUISE SEARCH
Disney Magic
The Disney Magic, the cruise line’s paradigm ship that debuted in 1998, begins with the appearance and feel of the classic days of ocean travel. The distinctive look, with a yellow stripe around the vessel, is seen from afar, but beyond this eye-catching exterior is a newly-reimagineered design of luxuries, technology, and comforts for 2,700 passengers.
The ship travels a significant portion of Disney’s itineraries, with trips lasting anywhere from three to 14 nights: the Caribbean, Bahamas, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Norwegian fjords, Dover to Barcelona, and transatlantic voyages.
No matter how you choose to travel on board the Disney Magic, you’ll have a chance to take in the stunning exterior. Specially-commissioned paintings, sculptures, and woodwork enliven the space, while rare animation cells offer a stunning sight into Disney’s past. The center is the three-story atrium lobby that depicts an undersea garden scene, with a bronze statue of Helmsman Mickey and a chandelier casting a sun ray effect about the area.
Staterooms
Disney’s staterooms and cabins are designed with families in mind, with more space, accommodations for at least four people, and split baths.
Inside deluxe and standard rooms and Deluxe Oceanview staterooms start with these basic accommodations. Going above are the Concierge Royal, 2-Bedroom, and 1-Bedroom Suites with Verandahs, which not only provide more space but feature accommodations for five to seven people. These rooms contain a combination of two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a media library, wet bar, dining space, whirlpool tub, and a walk-in closet.
