CRUISE SEARCH
Disney Fantasy
Taking families on seven-night Western and Eastern Caribbean cruises, the Disney Fantasy takes after the Dream in many aspects – but with a couple of variations.
This sister ship, which set sail in 2012, features a 14-deck design for 4,000 passengers. On board, you’ll have a choice of 1,250 staterooms, three pools, multiple nightclubs and lounges, and dining options, but the character leans toward a classic ambiance – one reflective of the heyday of grand ocean liners.
Representing this aspect while clearly Disney influenced is the three-deck Atrium Lobby, where you’ll see a grand staircase, fluted columns, a chandelier, and a marble and stone statue of Mademoiselle Minnie Mouse. From here, murals, paintings, and Art Nouveau touches extend the character throughout the Fantasy.
Staterooms & Dining
Disney designs its facilities with families in mind – and particularly the staterooms. Featuring a nautical décor, spaces offer complimentary amenities and even the smallest are built for three to four people.
Standard spaces include Ocean View and Inside rooms, with the former possibly featuring a Verandah, and the highest tier are the Concierge 1-Bedroom Suite and the Concierge Royal Suite with Verandah. These upscale spaces, designed with both a master bedroom and living room space, represent the ship’s most lavish accommodations.
Dining, however, is divided between family restaurants and adults-only establishments. The Fantasy features:
Animators Palate: Dine in a family-friendly environment inspired by Disney animation.
Cabanas: This outdoor location for all ages lets you dine on fresh, made-to-order meals.
Enchanted Garden: Garden of Versailles-inspired décor sets the grand tone for this restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Flo’s Café and Preludes: When you want a quick bite to eat, head over to these two casual restaurants.
Palo: An adults-only option, this restaurant features an elegant setting for serving Italian cuisine.
Remy: Enjoy French-inspired cuisine in this adults-only romantic setting.
Royal Palace: Considered the main dining room, its décor takes influence from classic Disney films, all while serving up a range of culinary choices throughout the day.
Activities
While adults can explore the Europa District, an entertainment space inspired by various European countries, the true heart of the ship is the Youth Clubs.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique: Have an aspiring princess or pirate? Let them get a makeover into their favorite character in this delightful, colorful spot.
Muppets Adventure Game: With “The Case of the Stolen Show,” you and your children can play an interactive mystery game that takes you all over the ship looking for clues.
Nursery: The Fantasy’s space for those under 3.
Disney Oceaneer Club: This supervised children’s activity center offers computer games, dress-ups, and more age-appropriate choices.
Disney Oceaneer Lab: Children can play age-appropriate games and use computers in this interactive lab.
Edge: Disney’s tween option (for those 11 to 14) offers a colorful, comfortable environment for video games, music, and television.
Vibe: Disney’s teen club (14 to 17) offers an indoor-outdoor space with a deck and lounge for plating video games, watching TV, listening to music, or surfing the internet.
